All instruments from the Det Moews workshop are lovingly handcrafted and unique. Similar to Hemingway’s language, whose magic arises from the clear and unambiguous verses, it is precisely this reduction to the essential that also distinguishes the Moews Hemingway Pacific Blue.
The tone is dry and powerful with the necessary twang, as dictated by the design. The pickups from our own production adequately transfer the sound to the amplifier and, thanks to the solid alder wood used, develop a lively overtone with a clear attack, to finally fade out full of character. The elaborately aged nitro-cellulose finish transports you both sonically and visually into the world of historical recordings of a long forgotten time.
